«Department Achievements»
The teaching staff of the department consists of 15 teachers, including: 2 doctors of sciences, 4 PhDs, 2 candidates of sciences. The scientific potential of the department is 53.3%. Several teachers of the department have certificates of proficiency in English, such as IELTS, TOEIC, DuoLinguo.
Professor of the department M. Muratbekov is a two-time winner of the state grant "Best Teacher of Higher Education in Kazakhstan" (2007, 2019).
Most of the teachers of the department are constantly engaged in scientific research.
International cooperation
The teaching staff of the "Mathematics" department is in scientific contact with universities in far and near abroad. In order to engage students in research work, train them, and develop special courses, scientific contacts have been established with well-known scientists from the country's fundamental universities and research institutes, as well as with scientists from near and far abroad: Professor of the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling, Academician M. Otelbayev, Professor of the Eurasian National University K. N. Ospanov, Professor of the Free University of Berlin (FBU) G. Beger, Professor of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University Ya. T. Sultanaev, etc. Currently, a scientific grant project on the topic of "Maximum regularity and differential properties of solutions of singular third-order independent differential equations" is being implemented together with scientists from the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilev.
Head of the Department S. Zh. Igisinov successfully completed a 1-year research internship at the University of Washington (USA, Washington) as part of the Bolashak Center's "500 Scientists" project (01.07.2024-20.06.2025).
