Scientists of the Department of "Biology", Faculty of Natural Sciences, organized by the Department of commercialization "Department of Science and commercialization" of the University met with Nazym Nurbayeva, an individual entrepreneur in the Baizak district, director of the farm "AGROMIX".

At the meeting, the head of the Department "biology", associate professor, candidate of Biological Sciences Gulnar Ziyaeva and Doctor of Agricultural Sciences Zhaksybay Tuleubayev got acquainted with the products of the entrepreneur engaged in mushroom and quail breeding.

During the meeting, a number of issues were identified, such as mushroom production and increasing the yield of quail eggs, creating a favorable microclimate and pest control measures. As a result, a council of scientists was deemed necessary to lend a helping hand in scientific terms.

Scientists of the Department" biology " proposed to conduct scientific research on the basis of a bilateral agreement. In order to develop mutual cooperation, scientists of the Department of "Biology" agreed to conduct research and development work on the topic "Improving the efficiency of mushroom cultivation".

A competition titled "The Wonderful World of Camel Milk" was held at the Dulat University for teachers and young scientists. The event was organized in collaboration with the "LF company" and the Commercialization Department of the Science and Commercialization Department. Twelve teams participated in the competition, where they competed against each other. The goal of the competition was to introduce new products made from camel milk to the audience and to promote them.

At the beginning of the event, the Vice-Rector for Science and Digitalization, a member of the Board, Seitjan Orinbaev, delivered a speech. He highlighted that the university is continuously developing and wished the participants success.

The jury consisted of Aygul Kabikyz, Head of the "Culture and Arts" Department at the Faculty of "Pedagogy and Social Sciences," Sulochash Balabieva, Head of the "Design and Fashion Industry" Department at the Faculty of Technology, Aidos Eluzhyluly, Senior Specialist at the "Youth Work" Department, Sulochash Ziyatbekovna, Production Manager at "LF" company, and Saltanat Abdiganievna, a lawyer at "LF" company.

As a result of the competition, four winners were determined. Karina Rakhimzhanova from the "TENGRI Creative" team took 1st place, while 2nd place went to Nigina Saparova from the "ENACTUS DULATY" team. Shymkent Kalizhan’s team "Sapa" secured 3rd place, and Nurbosyn Daniyal from the "Kuat" team took 4th place. The winners received certificates for 200,000, 150,000, 100,000, and 50,000 tenge.

The 1/4 finals of the largest ICPC student tournament were held at M.H.Dulati Taraz University with the support of the Republican Public Association "Federation of Sports Programming".

The purpose of the event is to provide students of all universities of Kazakhstan with the opportunity to demonstrate their programming skills, increase interest in this field, develop technical abilities, strengthen professional ties and lay the foundation for a successful career in the IT industry.

To achieve these goals, the Federation implements a number of projects for students in various regions of Kazakhstan. As part of the Digital Bridge events, Kazakhstan will host the final of the ICPC World Sports Programming Championship in 2024. The winners of the 1/4 finals held in Taraz will have the opportunity to participate in the finals in Astana.

The 1/4 finals took place on November 16, 2024 at Dulati University in an offline format.

The qualifying round was attended by:14 teams from Dulati University (2-3 people per team), 2 teams from Korkyt Ata University from Kyzylorda, 1 team from Zhumabek Tashenov University (Shymkent).A total of 17 teams participated. As a result, 6 teams received tickets to the semifinals, which will be held in Astana: 5 teams from Dulati University, 1 team from the University named afterKorkyt Ata from the city ofKyzylorda.

Vice-Rector for Science and Digitalization Seitzhan Orynbayev attended the opening ceremony and the award ceremony. He wished the participants good luck and also confidently prepare for the next stage. He shared his opinion on the importance of the competition and expressed gratitude to the organizers: Head of the Commercialization Department J.To Tanaev, the coordinator of the competitions Zh.Shongaraeva, Acting Head of the Department of Physics and Computer Science S.Raimbayeva.
