From IAAR Recommendations to Professional Development: Academic Mobility for Master’s Students

In line with the recommendations issued by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating (IAAR) following the 2026 specialized accreditation, the Department of “Russian Language and Literature” is continuing its efforts to expand academic mobility of students and foster cooperation with partner universities.

Measure to enhance academic mobility of students in collaboration with partner universities are being implemented according to the established action plan.

A significant outcome of this initiative is the participation of Yulia Yuryevna Skachkova—a second-year Master’s student in the “Training of Russian Language and Literature Teachers” program (7M01702)—in an academic mobility program at Zh.A. Tashenev University JSC during the third semester of the 2026–2027 academic year (commencing September 21, 2026).

Participation in the academic mobility program offers the student an opportunity to broaden her professional and academic horizons, gain insight into the educational approaches of another higher education institution, acquire new academic experience, and develop the competencies essential for a modern specialist in the field of Russian language and literature.

The study format is organized in compliance with the current regulatory requirements of the Republic of Kazakhstan governing academic mobility.

This experience marks a crucial step in the department's systematic efforts to enhance academic mobility.

Thus, academic mobility serves not only as a means to gain new educational experience but also as a vital tool for improving the quality of training for future teachers. Implementing the IAAR recommendations helps create conditions for students' professional growth, expands inter-university cooperation, and contributes to the development of a modern educational and professional trajectory for graduates.
