Professional biography/Education

In 2014, T. K. Kassenova worked as a Lecturer at the Department of General Physics of M. Kh. Dulaty Taraz State University.

From 2018 to 2021, she pursued her doctoral studies in “General and Theoretical Physics” at L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

Since September 2021, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Technical Physics of M. Kh. Dulaty Taraz Regional University.

During 2022–2024, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at M. Kh. Dulaty Taraz Regional University.

Since September 2023, she has been serving as Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Physics at M. Kh. Dulaty Taraz Regional University.

Based on the decision of the Dissertation Council of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 29, 2023, and the order of the Chairman of the Board – Rector, she was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the specialty “6D060400 – Physics.”

  1. K. Kassenova is the first specialist in the field of knot theory in the Republic of Kazakhstan. She is actively engaged in scientific research in theoretical physics, particularly in knot theory and statistical physics.

Her research topic, “Investigation of the Relationship between Knot Theory and Models of Statistical Mechanics,” is devoted to an important and relevant problem—the study of the relationship between knot invariants and the partition function using the mathematical apparatus of quantum physics. This approach makes it possible to analyze polynomial invariants of knot theory, their structure, their significance for topology, as well as their connection with mathematical physics.
