Professional biography/Education

Gulnur Sovetovna Meirmanova, graduated from the Faculty of Philology of M. H. Dulati Taraz State University in 2000 with a master's degree in Kazakh Language and Literature. Since 2000, she began working as a teacher, senior lecturer at the Kazakh Language Department of this educational institution.

As a result of many years of scientific research, on January 28, 2009, at the Dissertation Council at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, under the supervision of Professor R.S. Amir, she successfully defended her PhD thesis on the topic "The function of pronouns in the syntactic system" and received a PhD in Philology.

  1. S. Meirmanova has been continuing her research work in the field of linguistics since 2000. Over the years of her work at the university, the teacher has published 3 textbooks, a monograph and more than 60 articles, and is engaged in scientific work.

Meirmanova G. S. gives lectures and conducts practical classes for students, undergraduates and doctoral students in the disciplines "Morphology, Syntax of the modern Kazakh language", disciplines "Linguistics of the text", "Means of pointing in the syntactic system", etc.

In 2017, the textbook "Syntax of the modern Kazakh language" was published, in 2018 -the textbook "Problems of syntax", in 2019 - the monograph "Functions of pronouns in the syntactic system".

Scientific direction: Philology linguistics grammar - syntax, discursive, communicative syntax, functional grammar.
