Over 100 scientific and methodological works have been published, including 7 textbooks: «Бухгалтерский учет в гостиничном бизнесе и ресторанном деле», «Мейрамхана ісі мен қонақ үй бизнесіндегі бухгалтерлік есеп», A team of students led by S.S. Kozhabekov won prizes in the student subject Olympiad at NARXOZ University in Almaty. In 2016, he was awarded the University Rector's Certificate of Honor. In 2017, he was named "Best Teacher of 2017." In 2018, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor from the Akim of Zhambyl Oblast.
