In 1983, he graduated from the Samarkand Agricultural Institute with honors in the specialty "Zooengineering" (1983) and the Taraz Innovative and Humanitarian University with honors in the specialty "Biology" (2012).

After graduating from the institute, he began his career as a senior laboratory assistant in the immunogenetics laboratory of the Karakul Research Institute in Shymkent on 05.05. 1983. In 1983-1986, he studied at the Kazakh National Research Institute of Animal Husbandry on 06.02.04 - independent zootechnics, technology of processing livestock products.
After completing postgraduate studies, from 1986 to 1992 he worked as a junior research associate in the laboratory of histology and morphology of skin layers, and from 1992 to 1996 as a research associate in the laboratory of biotechnology and immunogenetics, and was a leading researcher at LLP "South-Western Research Institute of Animal and Plant Breeding". As a result of research work carried out under his leadership, 6 graduate students successfully defended their candidate dissertations.
Since 2013, he has been employed at M. Kh. Dulati State Taraz University and works there.
The main areas of scientific research are veterinary medicine, biotechnology, animal biotechnology, animal reproduction biology, breeding of agricultural animals, technology of animal product processing.
In addition to research, he is also engaged in teaching at the university. The main subjects taught are: biotechnology, animal biotechnology, medical and veterinary biotechnology, technology of meat and meat products, environmental biotechnology, waste-free technology of processing plants, biomaterial technology.
Has a certificate of scientific and (or) scientific and technical accreditation from the State Accreditation Commission (December 20, 2012, series MK No. 003030).
Kh. Aubakirov participated in the competition announced among teachers of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in 2008 was awarded the "Best Teacher of a Higher Educational Institution" grant, was awarded the A. Baitursynov bronze medal (2013) for many years of work in the preparation of textbooks for universities, the bronze medal "Labor Glory" from the Trade Union of Workers of the South Kazakhstan Region Agro-Industrial Complex (2014) and many certificates and diplomas.
As a result of his research in the field of scientific and pedagogical work, he became the author of more than 235 scientific articles, 13 invention patents, 4 manuals, 4 educational tools, 1 practical course, and basic textbooks "Biometry", "Biotechnology", "Agricultural Biotechnology", "Animal Biotechnology", approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and published in the Kazakh language for university students.
