A.K. Kabiyeva is a specialist in directing, professor, and head of the Department of “Culture and Art” at M.H. Dulati Taraz University, and an Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

She began her pedagogical career before 1991 at the directing department of the Zhambyl College of Culture and Education. In 1991, she moved to the position of Senior Lecturer at the Department of Cultural Studies at the Zhambyl Institute of Light and Food Industry, and she continues her work to this day at Taraz University.

She is the initiator of the establishment of the “Cultural and Leisure Activities” specialty at M.H. Dulati Taraz University and has been heading the Department of “Culture and Art” since 2007.

Public Activity:
Since 1997, she has been a member of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Zhambyl region, serving as Deputy Chairperson and Executive Secretary of the Kazakh Cultural Center “Äulie Ata.” She is also a member of the regional association “Business Women” and a member of the public group “Miras” under the Amanat Party. In 2003, she founded the student folk theater “Dulati Zhastary” and serves as its artistic director.
